The Moto E22s will be available in India on October 17. Through its social media platforms, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer announced the debut of a new Moto E series smartphone. Motorola has revealed the Moto E22s details on its India website. The device will be available in Arctic Blue and Eco Black colors in India. The Moto E22s will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G37 SoC and will have a 90Hz refresh rate display. Other notable features include dual back cameras lead by a 16-megapixel primary camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery. Last week, the Moto E22s was released in European markets.

In a tweet, Motorola India has revealed the Moto E22s’ official launch date in India. The smartphone will be available for purchase on Flipkart and other big retail outlets on October 17 at 12pm IST. Motorola is also teasing the smartphone’s features ahead of its release on its India website. However, the smartphone’s pricing in the nation is unclear at this time.

According to the description, the Moto E22s in India runs Android 12 out of the box and has a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 268ppi. The upper center of the display contains a hole-punch cutout. The phone is said to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G37 SoC and 4GB of RAM.

The Moto E22s is said to include a dual back camera arrangement with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for shooting. An 8-megapixel front camera would be available for selfies and video chats. The Moto E22s comes with 64GB of internal storage that can be upgraded (up to 1TB) via a microSD card. For biometric security, the phone is said to include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock.

The Moto E22s in India will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging capabilities.
